Its reputation speaks for itself, as a world famous elegant Five Star hotel, owned and managed by the De Vere Group. Cameron House is also well known for its 86 luxury time ownership lodges, all well-spaced and landscaped for privacy, and set in 108 acres of picturesque undulating parkland on the edge of the loch, with a challenging and very scenic 9-hole golf course. De Vere's spectacular new international standard 18 hole course is available close by.

Cameron House also has its own luxury motor yacht, a marina, health and beauty salon, shop, crèche, bakery, video hire and other facilities, not to mention the three excellent restaurants, super indoor swimming pool complex, fitness centre and tennis courts.

De Vere are renowned for the quality of their establishments and maintenance standards. The estate is superbly run and the efficiency, housekeeping and maintenance have impressed us throughout our ten years as Cameron House lodge owners. A weekly welcome meeting is held for lodge residents at which the estate's facilities, organised tours and many interesting activities are described.

All this set in the stunning location of Scotland's first National Park and, quoting from the official Visitor Guide, there was little debate in the Scottish Parliament about where their first should be. As a result the area benefits from continually improving amenities, including the nearby Loch Lomond Shores leisure and shopping centre. Other golf courses in the area include Cardross, Helensburgh and Hilton Park. There are popular factory outlets at nearby Alexandria for great shopping opportunities.

In 1995 Cameron House received the Automobile Association's most coveted award:
